Yesterday afternoon at 6:40 pm local time, Perú experienced a devastating earthquake. According to the Peruvian newspaper El Comercio:
Al menos 437 muertos y 80 mil damnificados dejó el terremoto
Así lo dijo el director regional de Operaciones del Indeci, Arístides Mussio, tras el sismo de 7,9 grados Richter que remeció el país el miércoles. Las ciudades más afectadas son Ica, Pisco y Chincha. El Gobierno declaró 3 días de duelo nacional.

Earthquake left at least 437 dead and 80,000 injured
As stated by the regional director of the Indeci Operations, Aristides Mussio, after a 7.9 degree earthquake that rocked the country on Wednesday. The cities most affected were Ica, Pisco and Chincha. The government has declared 3 days of national mourning.
